I am exploring the next generation of cloud computing infrastructure. I previously founded and led the Renaissance Computing (Institute) at the University of North Carlina. Before that, I was Head of the Department of Computer Science and Director of the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
